Rongmei Student’s Union Dimapur (RSUD) held a felicitation program to honor students, who successfully cleared the HSLC and HSSLC examinations at Tourist Lodge on June 28. A press release by media cell RSUD informed that the program was organised to recognize and celebrate the achievements of Rongmei students who have made the community proud.
The occasion was graced by member of Collective Leadership, NSCN/GPRN Salem Yang Gangmei, member of Nagaland Peoples Movement of Human Rights (NPMHR) Panti Kamei and education secretary, Dimapur Naga Students’ Union Kevin Gonmei, who offered words of encouragement to the students.
The program was chaired by secretary union assembly Suriakthailu Longmei, invocation by Youth Director, ZBC Chumukedima Gaichanglung Kamei, welcome address by president, Rongmei Students’ Union Dimapur Gaichamlung Gonmei and a payer of blessing for the passed-out students by director, BYF, Rongmei Baptist Church, Burma Camp Thanlouthai Kamei.
Special invitees joint secretary, Tenyimi Union Dimapur Kambui Dangmei and president, Tenyimi Students’ Union Dimapur Sotilo Seb, encouraged the students to excel in their endeavors.
