Rengma Selo Zi (RSZ) and Rengma Students’ Union (RSU) visited Tsogin EAC Headquarter, Tseminyu District on Saturday, as part of “Reach out mission” to travellers’ in the neglected alternative road connecting Dimapur to Kohima.
A press statement by RSZ president, Kegwayhun Tep and general secretary, Hiyalo, stated that EAC Hq. Tsogin, Tseminyu is one of the oldest administrative headquarter in Nagaland which has been neglected since its establishment.
The alternative road connecting Dimapur and state capital Kohima vie Niuland-Tsogin-10 IR BN Zadima has also been overlooked and neglected by the state government.
RSZ and RSU has appealed to the government to consider the importance of developing the road on priority and to ensure development of an all weather motorable road for the convenience and welfare of the public.
