Regional Transport Office (RTO), Kohima has informed that its enforcement official will conduct routine checking of compliance of vehicles on-road and penalise defaulters as per relevant Motor Vehicles Act. In reference to RTA Kohima meeting dated July 6, regional transport officer, Kohima, S. Yaongsanglee Chang informed that no application for local taxi, regional taxi, two-wheeler taxi and city bus permit will be entertained till further notice.
