Rubber Board Field Station at Sanis, Wokha district, has been shifted to a new location at Sanis Zero Point, in a building owned by Mhabemo Lotha. The official inauguration of the new premises was held on August 8, by advisor of Agriculture, Mhathung Yanthan.
Addressing the gathering, Yanthan encouraged rubber growers to form village-level societies to facilitate group processing and marketing, thereby securing better prices for their produce. He also stressed the importance of adopting scientific methods in plantation maintenance to extend the economic lifespan of rubber trees.
Around 60 rubber growers from nearby areas participated in the meeting, which focused on strengthening rubber cultivation practices and promoting cooperative development in the sector.
