RVSU backs YAA’s ultimatum on DoSE

Rurur Village Students’ Union (RVSU) has backed the Yimkhiung Akherü Arihako (YAA) demand on deployment of required number of teachers in the government schools across the Yimkhiung jurisdictions.

In a press release, RVSU president, Kumcho and general secretary, Lachim K said government schools falling within the preview of the Yimkhiung jurisdiction have been facing a shortage of teachers for a long time which jeopardize the career of the students, resulting in large number of dropouts.

The union expressed the hope that the concerned department would address the genuine demand of the YAA at the earliest.
RVSU also cautioned that it would not allow Government Primary School (GPS) Rurur ‘A’ initiate admission processes until and unless the department fulfils the demand of the YAA.
