SAGBA refutes news report

Seyochung Area GBs Association (SAGBA), the apex association of three tribes namely Sumi, Sangtam and Yimchungru, has refuted the statement claimed by Seyochung Area Public Forum (SAPF) by terming Seyochung ADC Headquarters as Seyochung Area Students’ Union headquarters.
A press release issued by SAGBA president Kaito Yepthomi said Seychoung area is inhabited by three communities and Seyochung town being ADC Hq. itself is mostly inhabited by the above three mentioned tribes along with others various Naga tribes. He has termed the news report highly regrettable and uncalled for which was designed by some few vested interested persons with selfish motive to create misunderstanding and to disturb peaceful co-existence among the tribes.
The Association clarified that Seyochung ADC headquarters equally belong to all the above three communities as such no organization, association or union within Seyochung area have been vested with the powers and authority to dictate, direct or control over any other organization.
The Association appealed to all the citizens and public to maintain peace and tranquility for peaceful co-existence in the future and to restrain from carrying out unwanted steps which might create disharmony in the society.
