As part of its co-curricular activities, Sainik School Punglwa (SSP) organised a motivational lecture for its cadets on April 27, with Capt. Yuvraj Singh Sekhawat of 9 Assam Rifles delivering an address on career prospects in the Indian Army.
In a press release, the school informed that the officer highlighted the key benefits of joining the Army, including job security, economic stability, adventure through sports, social respect, and lifetime retirement benefits with free medical facilities. Capt. Sekhawat also briefed the cadets on major entry schemes such as National Defence Academy (NDA), Technical Entry, Combined Defence Services (CDS), NCC Special Entry, and Short Service Commission (SSC) Technical/Non-Technical.
The session concluded with a lively interactive exchange between the officer and the cadets, providing them with clarity and inspiration for future career choices.
