Sainik School Punglwa inter-house badminton championship concludes

Sainik School Punglwa Inter-House Badminton Championship 2025-26, concluded on October 16, 2025, with a thrilling final.
Col (Dr) Smita Misra, Principal of Sainik School Punglwa, who graced the closing ceremony as the chief guest congratulated the winners and distributed certificates, medals, and trophies to the champions.
Lt Col Amit Chaudhary, Vice Principal, staff and cadets were also present for the event.
The annual sports event which commenced on September 16, 2025, saw participation from 72 cadets across four categories: sub junior, junior, girls, and holding house
In the closely contested championship, Tizu House emerged as the champion in the Junior category, while Pauna House excelled in the sub-junior category.
In the singles event, Cdt Bhola Kumar of Tizu House, Cdt N Helish Singh of Patkai House, Cdt Manjushri of Tizu House and Cdt Lenin Singh of Dzukou House were declared champions in their respective categories – Junior Boys, Sub-Junior Boys, Girls, and Holding House.
