Sumi Aphuyemi Kiphimi Kuqhakulu (SAKK) has appealed the government and department to give more importance and seriousness for timely delivery of books and study materials for the academic session 2015.
In a press release, SAKK president Tohovi Swu and the general secretary Joel Sumi Assumi said that every academic year, students faced untold hardship due to delay in distribution of study materials especially students studying in government schools. It stated that delay in distribution of text books hampered the smooth teaching system and rendered inability to cover up the whole syllabus for timely conduct of examinations, which are conducted on quarterly basis.
SAKK has, therefore, urged upon the department to issues the books and materials at the earliest for the welfare of the students for the smooth flow of classes.
