Sakraba Students’ Union holds general session

The two-day 56th general session of the Sakraba Students’ Union (SSU) on the theme “discover the differences” concluded at Lohe Khel, Sakraba village, here, on Wednesday.

In the inaugural session BJP Nagaland, state secretary, Zaveyi Kezo called upon the people to pay attention towards human resource development.

He urged upon the parents to invest in the development of intellectual, mental, physical, emotional and social abilities of a child.

He pointed out that the holistic development of a child was of utmost importance and that parents should continue to encourage their children to be assets and not liabilities to the society.

Highlighting the session theme “discover the differences”, Kezo challenged the students to take a corrective steps and decisions for healthy and successful academic career.

He exhorted the students to know their duties and discover their talents and abilities.

On the union motto “hard labour triumphs”, Kezo said there was no shortcut to success and called upon the students to work hard and be achievers.

Pointing out the advantages and disadvantages of mobile phones, Kezo exhorted the students to make the best use of it.

Earlier, Chakhesang Students’ Union (CSU) president Vetho Vadeo conveyed greetings, Centre Chakhesang Public Organisation (CCPO) president Niehüsa Cükhamu exhorted the gathering while SSU president Vesüto D. Vadeo delivered the president’s address.

SSU election commissioner Lehü Lohe announced the new team of SSU for the tenure 2022-2023 which would be led by Vetho Lohe as president and Küthono Cükhamu as general secretary.

Later during the valedictory programme, a quiz competition was also conducted with district jail Phek, assistant jailor, Dozhoyi Cükhamu as quiz master.

Earlier, Phek SDO (C), Zhoi Lohe spoke during the introductory session-cum-seminar on the theme “focus on competitive exams”.
