Salesian College presents Musical Adaptation

Salesian College, Dimapur, staged a powerful and heartfelt musical adaptation of the acclaimed Christian band MercyMe’s song “I Can Only Imagine,” written by Bart Millard. The one-and-a-half-hour performance was held on September 27 and 28.
Inspired by Bart Millard’s personal journey, his complex relationship with his abusive father and his deep reflections on heaven, the production offered a moving blend of music, drama, and dance, brought to life by the talented students of the college.
Fr. Elow Samuel, Rector of Salesian College, welcomed attendees and expressed heartfelt gratitude for their continued support of the Brothers’. He emphasized the vital role of theatre and dramatics in education, stating that such initiatives contribute significantly to the holistic development of students. Special acknowledgment was given to Fr. Hriiyio Michael, who directed the production, along with his teams, John Newmei, PK Paul, Titus Panmei, and all the participating students, for their outstanding commitment and teamwork.
