SAMEEP interaction programme held in Kohima Science College Jotsoma (KSCJ)

DIMAPUR: Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) launched an initiative in 2018 titled “Students MEA Engagement Programme” (SAMEEP).
As part of SAMEEP, India foreign service officers interact with students of their college alma matter or prominent school and college.
In this regard, regional passport officer Guwahati, in-charge of North East, Cherakung Zeliang interacted with M.Sc and B.Sc students of Kohima Science College Jotsoma (KSCJ) in the college auditorium on February 24.
In a press release, Liangmai Welfare Society (LWS) media cell informed that the programme began with welcome address by vice principal Thungbeni Yanthan, introduction of guest speaker by assistant professor Dr. Ruokovikho Dominic followed by interaction with students.
The SAMEEP interaction was part of MEA’s Azadi ka Amrit Mohotsav (AKAM) celebrations.
The programme was attended by senior faculty members.
