Two-day online training on “Professional skills for effective transfer of technology for extension functionaries” for Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA) functionaries was organised by State Agricultural Management and Extension Training Institute (SAMETI) on July 8-9 at SAMETI, Medziphema.
A press release by SAMETI, Medziphema stated that the resource persons for the training were assistant professor, EEI-NER, Dr Sajib Borua and RA, EEI-NER, M Dutta.
Participatory lecture on soft skills for extension professional, effectiveness of communication skills, effectiveness of leadership and principles & practices of team work and team management were covered during the training. Altogether 22 participants from different districts attended the training.
