The programme commenced with a formal inauguration led by community elders and organisers. In his address, Convenor Sejongmong emphasised the importance of cultural gatherings in preserving identity and fostering unity. He stated that festivals like Mungmung serve as vital links between generations, connecting youth to their roots and reinforcing shared values. A major highlight of the celebration was the cultural showcase featuring traditional folk dances, musical performances, and dramatic presentations depicting Sangtam folklore and historical narratives.
