Sanskrit should not be forced

Sir,
The recent move by the central government to make Sanskrit compulsory in schools will only put an additional burden on students. While I do not oppose Sanskrit as a language, learning the language in Nagaland is not practical. Firstly, there is no scope to use the language in Nagaland. Secondly, there is not even a remote connection between Sanskrit and the local languages spoken in Nagaland.
