The 48th Annual Sports Week of Sao Chang College in Tuensang concluded on February 28. The event, held from February 26 to 28, showcased the college’s commitment to holistic development and fostering a healthy competitive spirit among students.
A press release by the media cell of Sao Chang College stated that the sports week kicked off with an impressive opening ceremony with Er. Moamongba DPO, Department of Land Resources, Tuensang as the special guest.
The program was chaired by GS SCCSU, Puchio, welcome address by Principal SCC Dr.Lanurenla, oath taking by sports secretary SCCSU, P Punam and vote of thanks by SCC sports coordinator, Asst. Prof. Takumpuba Lomou.
Students who were divided into four teams engaged in a diverse range of sports disciplines such as track and field events, football, volleyball, badminton and more.
The release further stated that the success of the 48th annual sports week is attributed to the meticulous planning and coordination by the organizing committee, dedication of participants, and support of faculty and staff.
