Sao Chang College (SCC) organised a farewell program for retiring officials of the college on November 22 at the collage Conference Hall.
A press release by SCC stated that the program was organised for retiring principal, S. Chubasangla Chang, special grade typist, Tiakala Sangtam and duftry, Akangba.
In his message, SCC principal, Dr. A. Nshoga, described the retiring officials as people who had been very sincere and hardworking in their duties who had rendered immense services to the college.
Dr. Nshoga congratulated the retiring officials for attaining superannuation in good health after serving the college with their best.
Retiring principal, S. Chubasangla Chang, expressed gratitude to the college authority and SCC Teachers Association for organising the farewell program in their honour.
She also encouraged the principal, teachers and staff to continue to work hard to bring all round development to the college. Tiakala and Akangba, SCCTA president, Dr. Santosh Kumar, head assistant, Yingei and SCCSU general secretary, Khaikho, also spoke at the program.
IQAC, member, Dr. Lal Veda Chandra Kumar, chaired the program, and assistant professor, Dr. Kenilo said the invocation and the program ended with a benediction by Nyimangnaro.
