SAPO condemns murder of policemen

Southern Angami Public Organization (SAPO) has condemned the “brutal” murder of constable, Kevisekho Khate of 10th IRB and lance naik T. Zewangha Yim, NAP Rangers by Zenise Yoshü, while on duty at Lamhainamdi Village, Peren.
In a condemnation note, SAPO president, Kevipodi Sohie and general secretary, Swelul Pucho said SAPO and all its frontal organization thoroughly condemned the brutal daylight murder and expressed trust that the criminal justice system would pronounce speedy trial and award the most befitting punishment as per the law of the land.
Stating that such unwanted crime was alien to the Naga Society and culture, SAPO said the accused deserve the highest degree of punishment.
Further, SAPO asked the state government to provide remedies and jobs avenues to the deceased families.
