SASU silver jubilee monolith unveiled

Monolith erected in commemoration of Seyochung Area Students’ Union (SASU) silver jubilee was unveiled at Seyochung on January 5. 

A press release from SASU planning secretary Horiba Sangtam stated that, the monolith was unveiled by Rev. Y Imtiba Sangtam, executive secretary, United Sangtam Baptist Lithroti Ashimükhung (USBLA) as dedication minister in the presence of Seopi Sangtam, president United Sangtam Likum Pümji  (USLP). During the dedication programme, Rev. Y Imtiba read out the word of God from the book of Joshua 24:25 and said that survival of human beings can be limited but this monolith will stand witness from generation to generation.

Earlier, programme started with an invocation by Yanglise, pastor Old Monger Baptist Lithro, and a special number was presented by Seyochung Village Students’ Union. Pilila, youth pastor made an offertory prayer. Seopi Sangtam, president USLP and Tsichomong, GB Seyochung town, exhorted the gatherings. Rotiba G and Tingpila chaired the programme.
