Nagaland Legislative Assembly speaker, Chotisuh Sazo has urged the government servants to maintain a good rapport with the general public for the successful implementation of the policies and programmes of the government.
The speaker was addressing the 8th general session of service forum Chozuba sub division at Chetheba town hall Thursday. A press release issued by PS to speaker, Thepuphi Kapuh said Sazo in his speech has told the government employees to act as a guide in assisting the elected representative in decision making “without flouting the rules”.
He further told the gathering that it was their bounded duty to extend their service and assist the “aamadmi”. He urged them to be punctual, sincere and loyal in their duties so that “aamadmi” would be benefited.
“Those employees, who were sincere, upright and selfless in the duties can hasten the pace of development and everyone should nurture and cultivate these virtues”, Sazo added. The chief guest also released the magazine. ADC Polan John also delivered a short speech during the programme. The programme was chaired by Vengotso Khamo while the presidential speech was delivered by Vezhosa Keyho. The event also witnessed the introduction of new office bearers headed by Vengotso Khamo and others.
