Sazolie College organises a talk on drug abuse

Sazolie College, Jotsoma on Wednesday hosted a talk by 3rd Assam Rifles Kohima, major, Naresh Kumar in connection with international day against drug abuse and illicit trafficking.
In his talk, Kumar dwelt at length on the ill effects of drugs, alcohol and tobacco through presentation of facts and figures and by using relevant anecdotes. He urged the students to refrain from using all these harmful drugs and work towards becoming effective individuals. Kumar encouraged them to focus on building their careers and become responsible citizens. Around 260 students of BA Semester III and V, along with the faculty members attended the programme. A brief introduction was given by Sazolie College, principal, Dr. Kangzangding Thou.
