SBC Kma bids farewell to senior pastor

Sümi Baptist Church Kohima Sunday bade adieu to senior pastor, Reverend Zuhokhu Kiba, after 10 years of service rendered to the church from 2006 – 2015.
During the farewell service, chairman, deacon board Nihoto Chishi, deacon Y. Kikheto Sema, pastor Dr. Hokheto Chophi and director Sümi Baptist Convention, Rev. Dr. Khehovi A Shohe spoke of the upright, humble, noble, disciplined, self-sacrificing and honorable services rendered by Rev. Kiba during his tenure as senior pastor in the church. They also spoke of his love for music.
Speeches were also delivered by his daughter and wife, giving gratitude to God for His loving mercies bore witness to his sincerity and zeal in the service of the Lord.
The service also marked the end of his active service in the ministry of the Almighty God and laboring in the vineyard of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Rev. Dr. Khehovi has served for 37 years in the ministry of the Sümi Baptist Akukuhou Küqhakulu (SBAK) shouldering various responsibilities such as, associate youth secretary, youth secretary, headmaster – BTI, music teacher – Nito Theological Institute, pastor of Centre Church, missionary to Tezu in Arunachal Pradesh and finally senior pastor of SBC, Kohima.
