SBC to celebrate 100th anniv. of Sümi ordination

Sümi Baptist Convention will mark a historic milestone with the 100th anniversary of Sumi Ordination (1926-2026) on April 12, at Lazami Baptist Church. Organized by the Sümi Baptist Convention, the event will feature official unveiling of monolith commemorating the first Sümi ordained minister, late Rev. Yemhi Swunetho.
A press release by the media cell informed that director, Sümi Baptist Convention, Rev. Dr. Khehovi Shohe, will unveil the monolith, while key highlights would include greetings from executive secretary SBAK- Nitomount and president of the Sümi Baptist Convention, Rev. Kughato K. Chophy, and a Word of God by executive secretary, WSBAK and chairman of the Sümi Baptist Convention Ordination Council, Rev. Dr. Phughoto Sema.
The celebration will also feature prayers for Sumi Reverends who have passed on to their heavenly abode, as well as prayers for living Reverends and descendants of the late Rev. Yemhi Swunetho.
