Step By Step School (SBSS) building in ZUnheboto was inaugurated and dedicated by executive secretary Rev. Hukugha Zhimomi, SBAK Nito Mount.
While administrating the “Act of Dedication,” Rev Hukugha urged the gathering to thank and acknowledge the Divine for His love, care and blessings. He also lauded the school for breeding quality personalities in different walks of life.
The programme was led by Inaholi, SBCZ South Point-West sector in-charge, and began with a welcome note by the Chairman School Managing Board Hekishe Achumi followed by invocation and scripture reading by Dr. Hutton, Principal Nito Theological College.
Jonah Sema, Senior manager of Nagaland State Cooperative Bank (NSCB), in short speech, acknowledged the school environment and infrastructure which he described as an ideal place for both the learning and teaching activity(s). He further highlighted and tipped the gathering on the banking systems and availing of loans respectively.
Indian Women in Ministry regional secretary, Ahimsa K Zhimomi, also delivered a synopsis of the school and the lauded the principal SBSS Zhekugha Assumi for his tireless effort and dedication towards educating the Zunheboto community as an educationist.
He has not only contributed towards academic education but has also shouldered the burden in various aspects such as sports, social, church etc” asserted Ahimsa.
“Special Prayers” for the HSLC (Class-X) was conducted by Hoshevi, a prayer warrior.
Special song presentation and instrumental piece by the SBSS outgoing students and Ahupeka-Unokali duo respectively were other highlights of the day.
Meanwhile, SBSS Principal delivered the keynote address, vote of thanks and also conducted the presentation of gift hampers.
The programme concluded with South Point-West Fellowship convenor, Kisheto Jimo, who said the benediction prayers.
Hosts of Sumi Hoho executives, church leaders; ANAPSA-Z officials, principals/ managing directors/ proprietors of various schools, elders, parents and well wishers etc attended the grand dedication and inauguration program held at the Step By Step School campus, Saturday.
