The Sumi Community Council (SCC) United North Block ‘B’, Burma Camp has expressed gratitude to Viyito Yepthomi, CAO, UT-1, NSCN/GPRN (I-M), and his team for their efforts in addressing anti-social activities affecting society, particularly the younger generation.
SCC chairman, Shikato Yepthomi and secretary Kihito Chishi acknowledged UT-1 as a reliable administrative unit that has played a vital role in maintaining law and order in Dimapur. It also praised its cooperation with state law enforcement agencies and its support to the civilian population.
The council highlighted the public destruction of large consignments of seized contraband, including heroin, brown sugar, marijuana, alcohol, and other substances worth several hundred lakhs, as evidence of UT-1’s commitment to justice and transparency.
