NSS, Sao Chang College (SCC), Tuensang observed NSS Day on September 24. A press release from media cell SCC informed that alongside the programme, an off campus extension activity on HIV and AIDS awareness was initiated at Sangtam Church through its Youth Ministry.
District Program Officer of District AIDS Prevention and Control Unit Chongshen C Chang, spoke on the awareness theme.
A talk on education for a progressive society was delivered by Programme Officer, NSS, SCC Shilumongla T Sangtam, while Asst. Professor and NSS Committee member, SCC Y. Toninaro Chongpho, coordinated the event.
Youth Director, Sangtam Baptist Lithro Youth Ministry, Tuensang Town H. Ronglikhum welcomed the gathering.
The programme was attended by six NSS student volunteers along with two faculty of SCC and 50 youths from the Church.
