NSS Unit of Sao Chang College (SCC), Tuensang, organized special camp under the theme “Community Living” in the adopted village, Keshai, Tuensang from June 22 to 26.
A press release from Programme Officer, NSS unit, Sao Chang College, stated that the objective of the camp was to have teaching and learning experiences with village community.
Student volunteers of NSS unit actively participated in the Sunday devotional service, medical camp, learning and making bamboo basketry and crafts and held a door to door interaction with the villagers.
Various programmes, interaction time and field trips were conducted during the five-day long event. Altogether 22 NSS volunteers along with programme officer and two assistant professors attended the special camp.
