Scheduled power shutdowns under Kohima division

DIMAPUR, OCT 1 (NPN): Power department has announced scheduled power shutdowns from October 2 to November 10 for vegetation clearance and maintenance of 132kV transmission lines under the Kohima transmission division.
In a press release, transmission division Kohima executive engineer Namheu Khate Zelaing informed that the shutdowns, scheduled from 9am to 4pm, would affect different areas on specified dates as part of efforts to prevent disruptions and maintain stable power supply.
The schedule includes 132kV Kohima-Karong line (Oct 2-3); Kohima-Zhadima-Chiephobozou: Zhadima area (Oct 5-7); Zhadima-NU: parts of Northern Angami area (Oct 8); Chiephobozou-Wokha line (Oct 9-12); Wokha-Philimi line (Oct 13-14); Wokha-Sanis line (Oct 15-17); Sanis-Doyang DC: Sanis, Bhandari, Baghty and Merapani areas (Oct 19-20); Tuensang-Kiphire line (Oct 22-28); 66kV Kiphire-Likimro (Oct 29-30) LHEP; Kiphire-Meluri line (Oct 31-Nov 3) and Meluri-Kohima line (Nov 4-10).
