National Service Scheme (NSS) of Sazolie College Jotsoma (SCJ) conducted a special camp at its adopted village Mezoma from December 1 to 3.
A press release by SCJ principal, Dr. Kangzang Thou, stated that 21 NSS volunteers along with two programme officers and the dean of students of the college attended the camp.
The objective of the camp was to train and encourage the students to engage in community service and be involved in the conservation of the environment.
During the camp, the volunteers participated in cleanliness drive, planted trees in and around the village and held interactions with villagers.
