KOHIMA, AUG 20 (NPN): Sechü Zubza FC registered a convincing 3-0 victory over Vanguard Academy in Match 8 of the Atuo Mezhür Sekhose Super League (AMSSL) 2026 at the Indira Gandhi Stadium here on Thursday.
Sechü Zubza FC reportedly dominated the proceedings and secured the win through goals from Rokoselie, Kevisanyü and Keviyiekiezo.
Rokoselie (20) reportedly opened the scoring in the 27th minute before Kevisanyü (8) doubled the advantage in the 40th minute, giving Sechü Zubza FC a 2-0 lead going into the break.
Vanguard Academy’s task was further compounded when Sechü Zubza FC’s Metseilhouzo (77) was shown a red card in the 22nd minute. Despite being reduced to 10 players, Sechü Zubza FC reportedly maintained its advantage and continued to threaten the Vanguard defence.
Rokoselie was shown a yellow card in the second minute of added time at the end of the first half (45+2).
Keviyiekiezo (18) reportedly sealed the victory for Sechü Zubza FC with the team’s third goal in the 85th minute, completing a 3-0 scoreline.
The match patron was Neidilhoutuo Neibu Sechü, Publicity & Information Secretary of the Tenyimi Union Nagaland.
The next AMSSL fixture is scheduled for August 21, with Tsütüonuomia Youth Organisation taking on Nurturing Youngsters FC at 3pm.
