Security forces nab NPGs members

Security forces in a joint operation with police apprehended members of NSCN (U) and NSCN (N-NK) on separate occasions.

In a press release, PRO (Defence) informed that based on specific input, the joint team carried out an operation on June 11 at Burma Camp, Dimapur and nabbed one member of NSCN (U).

PRO informed that the team also recovered 10 boxes of brown sugar worth Rs. 35,000 (approx) from the accused. The apprehended individual along with recovered items was handed over to East Police Station, Dimapur for further investigation. 

In a separate operation on June 13, the joint team based on a specific input apprehended one member of NSCN (N-NK) at Khehokhu, Dimapur and rescued the truck driver kidnapped from 6th Mile Petrol Pump, Dimapur. PRO informed that the apprehended individual has been handed over to Chümoukedima police station, Dimapur for further investigation.
