Western Chakhesang Senior Citizen (WCSC) held its fellowship-cum-picnic on December 28 hosted by Selouphe Village. Former executive secretary of Chakhesang Baptist Church Council (CBCC), Rev. Khrutsoyi Luruo graced the event as the speaker.
A press release by convenor organizing committee, Zunepranyo Kezo informed that Rev. Khrutsoyi Luruo shared about the life of King Hezekiah while referring to Referring Isaiah -38: 1, and asserted the powerfulness of prayer that the Lord would do what He has promised.
He then challenged the congregation to pray like King Hezekiah referring to Bible Ecclesiastes 12:2 following, that there are two types of growth, stating that old people may not grow physically but have to grow spiritually.
In his greetings, WCBCC chairman, Neizo Koza mentioned the Bible Proverb 20-29 that the glory of young man is the strength; and the beauty of old men is the grey head.
The programme was chaired by Zunepranyo Kezo and Ngolie Thirah, the oldest man among the gathering, pronounced the prayer of blessing.
