One day seminar on awareness of substance abuse was organized by department of Social Welfare on November 13, at HPM Complex building, Mon with district Child protection unit, Child Helpline, Child care institutions and various stakeholders to instill knowledge and skills of treating the addict with behavioral therapies.
Resource person, Field coordination of Mon District De-addiction center (JACAOA) Longching Konyak, presented a comprehensive and in-depth lecture on the topic of understanding addiction, nature and type of substance abuse and prevention of substance abuse.
The programme was chaired Pangnyie Konyak. District Child protection office Mon Sevehu Chuzho delivered welcome address, invocation by Atsole Khalo and vote of thanks by Wanloi Konyak.
