Regional investor seminar for awareness programme was held on February 27 at Deputy Commissioner Conference Hall Mon organised by Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) in collaboration with Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) Investor Protection Fund (IPF).
According to the DIPR report, the seminar was held to protect the interest of investors in securities, to promote the development and to regulate the securities market. The main objectives of the awareness program was to reach out to the citizens from all walks of life and create awareness about savings and investments. Joy Agarwal AGM, SEBI ERO was the speaker of the seminar.
