The valedictory session of the two day National Seminar on “Social Lives of Infrastructure in Northeast India: Navigating Diversity, Connectivity and Resilience”, was held on February 28 at Conference Hall of Department of Sociology, Nagaland University.
A press release by PRO of NU informed that convener of the seminar, Dr. Sandeep Gupta reflected on the discussions held during the event and highlighted depth of deliberations on social implications of infrastructure in Northeast, emphasizing challenges of connectivity, diversity, and resilience.
Dr. Gupta acknowledged the valuable contributions of invited speakers and participants, who enriched the seminar with their perspectives and expertise.
Pro-Vice-Chancellor, NU, Kohima Campus, Prof. G.T. Thong, who graced the valedictory session, appreciated the multidisciplinary theme of national seminar, while patron, Prof. Mithilesh Kumar Sinha, addressed the gathering, underscoring the significance of the seminar in understanding diverse infrastructural dynamics of Northeast. Organizing secretary, Dr. Suraj Beri, thanked everyone involved in the conduct of the seminar and emphasized the need for continued dialogue and research on issues.
