Seminar on ‘Tobacco abuse’ in Tuensang

A one-day seminar on ‘Tobacco abuse’ amongst youth, was organised by District Tobacco Control Cell (DTCC) Tuensang, under National Tobacco Control Programme (NTCP) in collaboration with Longkhim Students Union (LSU), at Duda Conference Hall, Longkhim Town, on October 29. A press release from district media officer, CMO, Apheang, stated that resource person district consultant, District Tobacco Control Cell  Tuensang, Sentilong Longchar, deliberated on the ill-effects of tobacco consumption and how the tobacco industry manipulated youth and different health issues caused by it.  The programme was chaired by general secretary, Longkhim Students Union, Lumliba Sangtam.
