A seminar for teachers of government schools in Chuchuyimlang was organised by Village Education Committee (VEC) Chuchuyimlang and sponsored by Chuchuyimlang Baptist Church (CBC) at GMS Longzung, Chuchuyimlang, Thursday.
Speaking at the seminar, CBC Pastor T Lima said teaching profession should be embraced with mission oriented zeal while addressing 36 teaching staff of the three Government Primary School and one Government Middle School in Chuchuyimlang village. Lima said, since teaching profession was a respectable and noble job, teachers have to bear greater responsibility in moulding the future generation.
The Pastor also appealed the teachers to be the true role models for the coming generation by taking the profession as a “calling from above” in seeking wisdom and knowledge.
Resource speakers of the seminar were senior lecturer DIET, Zunheboto, Wapang and Alempang Baptist Church Pastor Rev. Temsu S.
Earlier, welcome note was delivered by VEC Chairman Lanumatong and the function chaired by Imtimongba began with an invocation by CBC Deacon Imtisosang.
