Dimapur and Kohima qualified for the semifinals in Group A while in Group B, Niuland and Chümoukedima entered the last four stage of the Senior Men’s Inter-District One Day Tournament 2024 organised by Nagaland Cricket Association.
At Nagaland Cricket Stadium, Dimapur defeated Kohima by 8 wickets to register their third consecutive victory. Kohima despite the loss qualified by winning two from three matches.
Put into bat, Kohima were bowled out for partly 98 runs with player of the match, Sanjay Shiva, scalping five wickets. In reply, Dimapur chased down the target comfortably with Joshua Ben Ozukum’s unbeaten 59 leading the charge.
Meanwhile, at the Sovima Cricket Ground, Chümoukedima triumphed over Wokha by 7 wickets. Jonathan Rongsen’s impressive knock of 64 runs guided Chümoukedima to victory, chasing down Wokha’s total of 155 runs.
