Directorate of Field Publicity, government of India regional office Kohima Sunday organized sensitization program on mother and child health and Mission Indradhunash in two places in Kiphire.
In Kiphire, the event was graced by ADC Kiphire, Dr. Tinojungshi Chang as chief guest and in Longthonger CDPO and DWO incharge Kiphire, graced the programme.
Dr Tinojungshi also gave the first polio drop at Kiphire village.
In both the programmes the chief guests appealed to the mothers to get their children immunize at the right time so that they would be free from sickness and stay healthy.
DIO Kiphire, Dr Rebecca spoke on awareness talk in both the programmes.
On the occasions, a healthy baby competition was also conducted.
