Department of Sericulture, Kohima conducted training under NERTPS from September 22 to 24 with extension officer Vilhousienuo Khro, extension officer Eyareno Chuse and sericulture supervisor A. Atenjemba as resource persons.
During the training, DSO Mhianizoto Meyase briefed the farmers about the importance of sericulture in generating income. He encouraged them to practice where they can get maximum benefits.
Resource persons covered topics on land development for food plantation and rearing technology to economics of sericulture.
