Department of Sericulture has undertaken an initiative in clearing the eri-farm compound at Wokha village, measuring an area of 1 acre.
A press release from Extension Officer, eri-farm Wokha village, N. Tsenyimo Humtsoe stated that the department aims to promote opportunity for mulberry and eri rearing farmers.
He also said that the department would conduct all sericulture demonstration programmes in the said farm.
In this regard, he encouraged all farmers to be dedicated and work towards promoting eri and mulberry cultivation in the district.
