National Baptist Youth Leaders Summit (NBYLS) 2017 was held from October 26-29 at Mumbai, Maharastra under the theme “Inspire, Initiate and Impact”, wherein 185 delegates from seventeen affiliated Baptist Conventions of the Baptist Youth Fellowship India attended the summit.
In the summit, the delegates resolved the following: “In a pressing time such as this, we are called to live our life in witnessing, making our faith more vibrant and apparent to the world. We call upon the Christian youth of India to be more vibrant in their faith and witness to a world that is becoming more sceptical and depressive, enticing us to be otherwise and conformist. We must not forget that the way to the cross is never easy. We must stand fast and steadfast in faith loving the world as Jesus did and live out our calling as light to the world, bring flavor to a world that has lost her path to redemption. As generation of new life we must impact our world with the message of love, forgiveness and redemption. We are called to inspire, initiate and Impact.” BYFI shall expand its constituents by inviting other Baptist Convention yet to join the National Baptist Youth Fellowship India.
BYFI commit to bring a larger unity of the Baptists in India and decide to appeal/write to all the Baptist Convention heads in India to take this concern seriously in organizing a fraternal national body of the Baptists in India.
