Shamator ogns dismayed over erratic power supply

Shamator organizations have expressed disappointment over the erratic power supply in the area for quite some time now, saying it was causing untold hardship to the general public. In a letter addressed to the chief engineer, department of power, Shamator Town Public Forum (STPF) president Y. Tokiu, Yimchungberu  Arih-ako Shamator Area ( YASA) president K. Kamsola and Shamator Town Students Union (STSU) president K. Thsanthong stated that due to increasing  demand of electricity, there was frequent load shedding in Shamator.
Signatories further said Shamator town have two transformers (100 KV) that were supplying power to seven sectors and 25 KV to two sectors.
Stating that both the transformers broke down due to overloading, they said even after the replacement of the transformers with the same kilovolts, the 25 kV transformers went off and the 100 kV transformers were being used for seven sectors on rotation basis. Pointing out that availability of electricity was essential to daily life, the organizations alleged that the erratic power supply in Shamator was hampering works
They expressed hope that department would leave no stone unturned to allot high kV transformers. Further, they requested the authority to seriously look into the matter and address the issue without further delay.
