Shamator, Zunheboto and Tseminyu District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) held separate meetings and discussed ways to develop respective districts.
Shamator: Shamator DPDB meeting was conducted on April 15 near Shiponger River, Shamator with advisor youth resources and sports, chairman Shamator DPDB, Keoshu called upon heads of offices and departments to give more effort to develop the new district. According to a DIPR report, the advisor also urged the members to address respective departments’ grievances for the smooth functioning of the department and assured to help in every possible way.
Shamator Deputy Commissioner (DC) and vice chairman DPDB, Thuvisie Phoji urged the members to discharge their duties sincerely. The house also deliberated and approved agendas and forwarded it to higher authority for necessary action.
Zunheboto: Zunheboto DPDB meeting was held on April 14 at the Conference Hall of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Zunheboto office with advisor, land resources and chairman Zunheboto DPDB, G Ikuto Zhimomi, Toiho Yepthomi, MLA, and Dr. Sukhato Sema, MLA.
According to a DIPR report, in an introductory speech, Ikuto said the government has marked 2023 as the year to achieve a state of excellence. To achieve this goal district, he said all HoDs and staff need to do their duties with full dedication. Toiho requested the officers to cooperate with the MLAs so that they can do justice to their chair and also assured them that they would always be ready to help in any way and anytime. Dr. Sukhato applauded the recent people’s friendly budget where various budgets were made for the people especially targeting the youths and requested the officers to make various schemes and projects known to the people.
The meeting also discussed various agendas and development activities.
Tseminyu: Tseminyu DPDB meeting was held on April 13 at the DC Office conference hall, Tseminyu with MLA and chairman Tseminyu DPDB, Jwenga Seb. According to a DIPR report, Seb urged them to be sincere in their duties for the upliftment of the district so as to make Tseminyu a model district. To make a model district, he said upgradation of offices to district level and creation of the new offices are required for all-round development.
DC & Vice Chairman DPDB Tseminyu, Dr. Zasekuolie Chusi reviewed the last meeting minutes, and also stated that strict attendance of all the DPDB members would be maintained so that development activities are not put on hold.
