SHGs trained on noodle making

Fifteen women representatives of seven Self Help Groups (SHGs) from The Working Woman Project, Dimapur II were trained on making instant noodles, dried Chinese noodles and dried pasta.

A press release from Zatara Pvt. Ltd’s, Mhonthung Jami stated that training was held from January 17 to 23 and was attended by representatives from Eloe SHG Duncan Bosti; Euphoria SHG Zeliangrong village; Narsen SHG Lotha Colony; Nibolomi SHG Thahekhu village; Remsojem SHG Signal Angami; Senthan SHG Lotha Colony and Vintage SHG DC Court. 

The training was conducted by Zatara Pvt. Ltd, funded by the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmer’s welfare, GoI; Skill India, Government of India; STRY program under National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (MANAGE) and State Agricultural Management & Extension Training Institute (SAMETI), Nagaland. 

Sentinaro Alley, Washipong Longkumer, Mhonthung Jami and Tia Jamir from Zatara taught the SHGs basic knowledge on food preservation, processing, packaging, FSSAI standards and regulations, branding and marketing of their products.
