Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) has permitted the Kohima Chamber of Commerce and Industries (KCCI) to open business establishments on Sunday after 12 noon. In a press release, KMC administrator Kovi Meyase stated the permission was granted in view of the festive season and request of the KCCI in a letter. However, KMC informed that no shops should open before 12 p.m.
