Shutdown of power supply to relocate poles

Transmission Division Dimapur executive engineer Er SI Asangba Tikhir has informed all consumers and the public in general that the department is availing shutdown of 33kV AP1/Medziphema Transmission Feeder to facilitate relocation of poles and stringing of conductors at Pagala Pahar area, which have been affected and are on the verge of collapse due to soil erosion.
The shutdown will take place on March 26, around 6 am to 11 a.m and on March 27 to March 28 at 6 a.m to 10 a.m.
The press statement further stated that consumers under Medziphema sub-division shall be affected during the shutdown. The Department, while acknowledging the inconvenience caused to the consumers, also requested cooperation from all.
