DIMAPUR, Sep 19 (NPN): The All India Football Federation (AIFF) D Licence Course, organised by the Wokha District Football Association (WDFA), concluded on Saturday after a six-day residential programme held from September 14 to 19.
A total of 23 participants attended the course, which was conducted under the guidance of AIFF coach educator and holder of the prestigious AIFF A Licence, Vikash Panthi. The programme focused on equipping aspiring coaches with foundational knowledge and practical skills in football coaching, in line with AIFF standards.
Practical sessions were held at ArenaX Turf and Public Ground, while theory classes took place at the VDB Hall.
On the final day, a grassroots football game involving young players was organised, allowing participants to apply coaching techniques in a real match setting. This was followed by the theory final examination.
The WDFA expressed satisfaction over the smooth conduct of the course and extended gratitude to the AIFF and coach educator Vikash Panthi for their support in strengthening coaching capacity in the district.
