SJU Drama Club organises ‘Royal Ball’

The Drama Club (Department of English) of St Joseph University, Chumukedima, organized “Royal Ball” on September 8, under the theme “Around the World.” The dance forms of “Waltz” and “Foxtrot” of different eras were performed by the students of each semester.


The objective of the event was to enable the students to learn about the eras in Literature through dance, to promote creativity and to learn through participation. The essence of the ballroom was captured by the students as each of the classes gracefully danced along.


The event began with the welcoming of the Patrons, opening prayer by Asst. Professor, Dept of English Iukali, welcome note presented by Asst. Prof, Dept of English Irine, Special presentation was performed by Asst. Professor, Dept of Englishg Tokaholi, and students from each semester. The event concluded with the declaration of the winners won by MA 3rd Sem under leadership of Vikhotuonuo Valeria Vizo.
