A skeletal remains of an retired IRB jawan from Pangti village under Wokha district, Ponathung Z Jami, who was missing on June 2, was found on June 30 at a forest in New Aree village area, Wokha.
The skeletal of the deceased was found by the hunters and was identified through his Aadhaar and PAN cards.
Source said that the hunters informed Pangti villagers and later the police personnel from Sungro police station, the village council and family members recovered the remains.
